Welcome to Fisher and Sons Jewelers, your local family owned and operated business for the
last thirty-five years.
History and Employees
In 1977, Tom Fisher moved his business from Exchange Alley in the French Quarter to West Esplanade in the heart of Metairie, calling it Fisher and Sons to include his wife Chloe and family in the endeavor. With his son Craig learning by his side, Tom began to build his business, making regular customers return time and again. Tom's daughter, Chloe Jr, joined the family business in 1982 to help wait on customers and keep the showcases stocked with unique and unusual pieces. Her husband, Barry Bares, is always ready to wait on customers and keeps the place decorated and inviting, no matter what the occasion.
While Tom and Chloe still work and come into the shop daily to help, they handed the business down to their children in 2011. Today, Craig Fisher is a master jeweler, doing all work ON PREMISES including jewelry and watch repairs, engraving, and monogram. His son Ryan began working for his father in 2005 to keep the business up to date technologically, rounding out the family.
